You guys are making me hella F hungry like the wolf.

I like Round Table pizza gourmet chicken pizza with two extra toppings. Bacon and feta. Even though they charge way too much for it.

Also, alot of people think I'm weird because I like it, but I LOVE pizza with ground beef and black olive. With onion and mushrooms is good too.

i made a sort of "hot pocket" that was easy to take to work.

cresent dough
chicken
sundried tomatoes
blue cheese
bacon

i simply precooked the chicken spicing it with some dried herbs (italian mix). then i cut it into bite size pieces along with the sundried tomatoes. i added all therest of the ingredients and then formed the dough around it. baked it according to the directions and it was delish.

*i also did this with lightly mashed sweet potatoes and chicken with blue cheese and it was very good. I seasoned the sweet potatoes with pumpkin pie spice and its contrast with the blue cheese was awesome.

I'll have to agree that wasabi mayo is the bomb. I recently had a gorgeous sandwich made with this fantastic bread from a bakery on the corner (millet, kamut and..I forget the other grain...but it's light and fluffy while having some crunch and graininess), left over panfried trout from the night before, spinach and wasabi mayo and it was simply divine.

I'll also second the jam with cheese combo - though I've never tried it with blue cheese (but since blue cheese is fantastic with fruit in a salad it's not too hard to imagine). I like a sharp cheddar with a berry jam of some kind, fantastic on a croissant but also good in a sandwich. Also, sharp cheddar with Branston pickle (which is kind of a fruity chutney common in the UK).

I'm not usually a big mayonnaise fan, but put it with seafood like little bay shrimp or dungeness crab and I'm all in.

I enjoy browsing my copy of Culinary Artistry (Andrew Dornenburg/Karen Page). There's a 133 page section dedicated to foods and spices that pair naturally together. My kind of nightstand reading.

I'm going to second the steak comment, although I prefer mine to be a filet mignon, prepared medium, wrapped in applewood smoked bacon and topped with Maytag or Point Reyes blue cheese. YUM!

Nutella and/or melty milk chocolate with strawberries is pretty fanfuckingtabulous, too! (Must have frosty mug o' milk at hand)

Homemade bread & butter pickles with a nice sharp cheese

Snow crab meat wrapped in albacore and topped with a sweet, peanutty sauce - oh how I miss my "drops" from an old sushi place I used to frequent

Sweet potatoes with melted butter, ginger and cinnamon

Spinach and ricotta raviolis with browned butter and crispy sage

Homemade pesto+beefy homegrown heirloom tomato+buffalo mozzarella on sourdough and toasted to perfection a la pannini (c'mooooon, summer!).

The BLT + avocado at Dad's in Sacramento - oooooh yeah!

cantaloupe and a dash of salt

homemade creme brulee with fresh raspberries

Dang, I'm HUNGRY!!!

Often times I enjoy pasta quite simply with roasted in olive oil and garlice veg-eggplant,zucchini,peppers and onions, with a seperate pan of roasted tomatoes.Other times I just want that heart attack on a plate, fettucine alfredo. However the afore mentioned roasted veg in a light alfredo sauce is heaven -make sure there is some quality parmesan on hand!
