If youre in a certain mood is there a certain food you may use to adjust your mood? Or if you eat certain foods do you feel they change your mood or attitude in any way. Dude! Not to be rude, lude or crude. But feel free to get nude. Don't be prude. You won't get sued. Just don't get high before going to the zoo.

In the past when I used to be able to eat anything garlic and onions were an aphrodisiac. ( wink wink : )

Just a few things that I personally think are great "Mood" foods?

    Chocolate Souffles
White or Dark Chocolate covered strawberries
    Strawberries and Champaigne
Dark Chocolate and a nice Port or Red Wine

      Chocolate. Chocolate makes everything better!
And of course there is the whole category of "Sickie" foods that mom gave you as a kid when you were sick. Mine were split pea soup and sprite, so now whenever I'm sick that's what I want.

Yeah, I only ever had ginger ale when I was sick... so now every time I have it it reminds me of being sick.

    chocolate anything makes everything better..........
    But!

occasionally, if I'm in a really really bad mood i will go hit burger king for a whopper jr with cheese combo with onion rings and a dr pepper.
and then drive around with my music really loud, and just chill, ..................

Can't go to a movie without the butter, butter, buttered popcorn and snowcaps

and after a night out at the club, a circle k hot dog with chips and a drink.

Sushi is sex on a plate, uber sex food. High dosages of garlic are sexy too, but make sure your date eats some of that garlic too. Chocolate makes everything right somehow, magically.

Lately I've been living down my grandmothers curse on me. She warned me that someday I would crave the foods she cooked for us every single day. She was 60 at the time, and I had no idea how much wisdom was contained in that sentence. The stuff she would cook for dinner on a regular basis that I complained about, I would die for nowadays. She's nearly 90 now and can't cook for herself any more, so I have to hit Mom's place for a dosage of pure comfort.

Mom's house keeper laughed at me when I informed her that I never got to eat plantains any more, she gave me the most incredulous look haha!

Indian food has my attention recently. Took my GF to Pasand in Berkeley about a month ago. She had never been and didn't know about the joys of a full Thali dinner. Great food! Berkeley is a haven to peeps with exotic food tastes, you can get food from all over the world in town there. Unfortunately we were too stuffed afterwards to act on the mood from the fantastic spices and delicious curries and chutneys, but the feelings were there :D

Last time I went with my old roommate from Bangladesh and his Indian friend it hit me before I'd even finished dinner. My friend was like "What? Already?" lol Once, I was at the lunch buffet with a friend from work and had to go. When I got back to the table I felt like I had to go again. We hadnt even gotten a second plate yet. I told her I was sorry but I had to go and I would pay for it. I barely made it back to work. One of those emergency runs that would end up being an accident if there was someone in there when I entered. Once I just ran into the ladies room and used it real quick. I figured if someone complained I'd just ask the boss if I should just shit my pants instead. Luckily there was noone in there. lol Someone told me the tumeric affects me stronger because I take the coumadin for the heart valve.

Sushi, definitely seems luxurious to me somehow. That and fresh fruit. Particularly, Peaches, cherries, and plums. There's just something sexy about the sweet, sticky, goodness of fresh fruit.

Sushi... gets the adrenaline going. I like to eat it befor going to rehearsal, always feel so good!

Then.. .fresh fruit. kicks the seasonal depression enough it gives me a break to get back on my feet. Also aphrodesiac... :)

Both my lover and I are cheeseaholics... omg we'll go through so much cheese if we dont watch ourselves!

One of my good friends swears cheese is magic. He eats it with every meal, and is always pretty jolly, so maybe he's right.

Cheese is magic, in a way. It captures the energy of the sun and saves it up for a rainy day.
